K·TAR is the only company that makes the integrated housing with ultralight weight materials through machine tool manufacturing, which allows us to be extremely precise in the mechanical couplings of the different elements.
The sliding components are coated with a specific PVD
process (Physical Vapor Deposition) that greatly increases the surface hardness by creating a self-lubricating, wearresistant and long-lasting film.
PVD on K·TAR components not only ensures great technical performances, but also, due to its nature, it enhances the attractive and fine design of the pieces by providing unique colors.
A slight change in a key component ensures the string-winder shaft to be always aligned with the rest of the mechanism, in order to avoid micro-movements that
prevent tuning from lasting over time.
