Thanks to a solid tradition of craftsmanship, Italy has always been a significant commercial hub for the trade of precious timber coming from all over the world. In this filed we developed a strong background, we got passionate and we explored to find the most spectacular and the finest raw materials. European and exotic woods, combined with Italian Red Spruce of the Alps, give our instruments the highest acoustic properties.

Construction Details

· Mahogany neck made in one only piece.
· Monolithic fingerboard with integrated frets, absence of binding
· Rosette and bindings made of solid wood
· Inlaid wooden pickguard

For our guitars, we select Gotoh SXN510 Chrome and Cosmo Black open back tuners.

Alternatively, on request, the K·TAR machine heads are now available in different models and materials.

We have chosen the best L.R.BAGGS pickup systems to intensify the pure and natural guitar sound. We collaborated also with other companies and sound engineers. On request, it is possible to modify the amplification with valid alternatives, both active and passive systems.

In line with the simplicity of the finishes, the non-shiny surface is a very specific preference: the guitar is treated with a matte varnish that preserves the instrument intact, protected from grooves and scratches, but also water repellent and resistant to dirt, wear and sweat. With this finish, the colour remains natural over time, and the surface opacity is uniform in all parts. The Mahogany neck instead is treated with an impregnating hard oil for wood. This oil facilitates the natural propagation of sound waves, always leaving the wood dry.

Upon request we supply a Hiscox case, in black or ivory version, customized with K·TAR logo. Available in a version tailored for Orchestra K0 and K1 models, and one for the Dreadnought K3 model. This case is a solid and easy to maintain accessory, which protects the instrument from shocks and guarantees optimal thermal insulation.
